Sorry I went AWOL yesterday, guys. This has been a busy week, and blogging just took a bit of a backseat.
I worked 13 hours, without a break on Saturday, so by the time I got off work it goes without saying that the last thing I wanted to do was blog, haha. I laid down, and did absolutely nothing instead! Then I also worked Sunday night and spent Sunday morning hanging out with my mom and my sister, so again, didn’t have the time to write out a post for Sunday.
But I’m back, here I am, hello!
I’ve got a nice juicy review post in the works for you guys right now, so until I can get all those photos edited and my review written up, I figured I’d fill y’all in on some life happenings right now.
- I am working a bunch!
My new job, as a server, is incredibly demanding. Physically and mentally at times too. The money is good, and I get some really nice guests sitting in my sections, but usually when I get off, I am so drained. Especially if I had class that day already. I’m trying my best to write posts in advance so I’m not forced to forego a day of posting from my tiredness, but it’s difficult to stay on top of everything.
- I’ve been doing soooo much better with getting homework done.
Now that my work schedule is getting more consistent, I have a routine of sorts set in place. I am off Mondays and Tuesdays, so that’s when I do my homework for Wednesdays. Then, on Thursday I get out of class early before I work so I get Thursday night’s homework done then. Fridays I am off of school and work, so I finish everything I need done for the weekend an enjoy my much deserved “me time”. So far, so good.
- My dad got laid off from his job.
This poses an interesting question of how I am going to pay for school….. since the IRS cannot do heir job and still have yet to send the tax transcripts I need to get financial aid. Yup, you read that right- almost halfway through the semester and I still have yet to receive my financial aid. Because the government cannot do their job. I totally get why everyone hates the IRS now. Y’know, besides the whole taxing and auditing thing. I am paying full price for my semester right now, when in reality, after my aid, we should have only had to pay about $1,000. Yikes.
- Netflix finally added season 10 of Supernatural.
Do I even have to explain this one? In the past, my sister used to make fun of me for watching it because she said it was just sooo cheesy, and I always defended my beloved Winchesters. Watching it now, however, I totally see what she means, haha. However, despite the cheese factor, I still love this show and all of its ridiculous drama!
So that’s what I’ve been up to. Like I said, I am working on a super long review post, but I will have that out for you guys tomorrow. So keep your eyes peeled!
Anything interesting been going on in your life? Any tips for bullying the IRS into doing their job? Let me know in the comments!
